About Us
Founded in Lafayette, Indiana, Robinson’s Equine Therapy & Riding is a nonprofit dedicated to creating meaningful horse-assisted experiences that inspire confidence, connection, and joy.

Our inclusive riding program welcomes individuals of all abilities — especially those with physical, developmental, or emotional challenges — in a safe and encouraging farm environment. Each session is supported by trained volunteers and gentle horses who help riders grow both in and out of the saddle.

All riding sessions take place in our indoor arena, allowing riders to participate comfortably throughout much of the year.
A Note About Our Services
While our riding sessions are often therapeutic in nature, Robinson’s Equine Therapy & Riding is not a licensed provider of equine-assisted psychotherapy, occupational therapy, or medical services. Our focus is on adaptive, horse-assisted experiences that promote confidence, connection, and joy for riders of all abilities.
We welcome riders from across the Lafayette community, including individuals with physical, developmental, and emotional challenges. Our program is designed to meet each rider where they are, creating opportunities for growth, confidence, and connection through time with horses.

Because our program operates with limited horse and volunteer capacity, new riders are often placed on a waitlist. Families are welcome to visit the barn during classes to learn more about the program and see how sessions work.

We are a verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, fully run by volunteers who have a heart for children. You can make a difference today and help us continue to serve children in our community, including those with special needs through therapeutic riding.
