VOLUNTEER

We depend on our amazing volunteers every day to help deliver the services we provide. Our volunteers are true difference makers, having a profound impact on the lives of individuals with special needs. We are incredibly grateful for the time, effort, and dedication of each volunteer. Whether you have previous horse experience or not, there is an opportunity for you to make a meaningful difference at Robinson's Equine Therapy and Riding!

Is Robinson’s Equine Therapy and Riding a Good Fit for You?

Whether you’re an adult looking to give back or a teen eager to get involved, there’s a place for you here. Volunteers are essential to everything we do — from helping during riding sessions to caring for horses and keeping the barn running smoothly.

Junior Volunteer Program (Ages 13–17)

NEW! We now offer a structured program just for youth volunteers who want to make a difference while learning valuable skills.

Who It’s For:
Responsible, kind-hearted teens with a willingness to learn — no horse experience required!

Age Breakdown:

  • Ages 13–15: Help with barn chores, prep, and grooming/tacking (with supervision)

  • Ages 16–17: May assist as sidewalkers during classes (with staff approval), and help with grooming, tacking, and barn work

Requirements:

  • Attend a junior volunteer orientation

  • Submit a signed application and parent/guardian consent form

  • Wear closed-toed shoes and long pants

  • Follow all safety rules and staff direction

Junior volunteers can earn service hours for school, 4-H, FFA, or NHS. Most importantly, they’ll be part of a community that builds confidence and connection — both for themselves and for our riders.

Want to get involved? Fill out this application and send it to us or contact us at robinsonsequinetherapy@gmail.com for more information.
